Arrive in Beijing, transfer to Sino Swiss Hotel. (D)

Day 02 June 25 SUN:
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport and fly CA 1405 at 8.30 am from Beijing to Tibet's Gonggar airport arriving at 3.40 pm. Transfer to Tsedang,visting Mindroling Meditation Monastery enroute. Overnight at Tsedang Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 03 June 26 MON:
An easy day in Tsedang to aclimatize to the altitude. Visit and meditate in Yabhu Lhagang and Dradruk Temples. Overnight at Tsedang Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 04 June 27 TUES:
Three hour drive to Olkha Chulung, Tsongkhapa's five-year retreat site. Picnic there, and then meditate in the caves. Overnight at Tsedang Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 05 June 28 WED:
Visit Samye and Chimpu meditation centers, and meditate in the Chimpu caves of Padma Sambhava and Yeshe Tsogyal. Drive on to Lhasa, with an overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel. (B/L)

Day 06 June 29 THURS:
Visit the temple complexes in the Potala, the traditional monastery of the Dalai Lamas. Afternoon meditation in the Songtsen Gampo Caves and then a walk around the Kangyur Stupa. Overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel in Lhasa. (B/L)

Day 07 June 30 FRI:
One hour drive to the Drak Yerpa Cave Complex. Meditation in the caves there. Picnic on Lhari Nyingpo before returning to Lhasa for an overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel in Lhasa. (B/L)

Day 08 July 01 SAT:
Day outing to Pabongka Meditation Cave and Tashi Choling Monastery. Meditation in Tashi Choling. Walk to Sera on the way back. Overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel in Lhasa. (B/L)

Day 09 July 02 SUN:
Drive to Tolung for meditation in the Karmapa caves there. If time permits, stop off at Ganden on the way back. Overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel in Lhasa. (B/L)

Day 10 July 03 MON:
Drive to Gyantse via the Turquoise Lake. Late lunch in Gyantse, and then visit and meditate in Kumbum Stupa temple complex. Continue to Shigatse afterwards. Dinner and overnight at the Mansrover Hotel in Shigatse. (B/L/D)

Day 11 July 04 TUE:
Morning in Tashi Lumpo, the monastery built by the First Dalai Lama, and used by later Dalai Lamas. Lunch and then Free Market in Shigatse, and then continue on to Sakya. Overnight at the Sakya Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 12 July 05 WED:
Drive to Rongbuk (Everest). Overnight at the Hotel/Guest House on Everest. (B/L/D)

Day 13 July 06 THU:
Visit Everest Base Camp, and meditate in the Guru Rinpoche Cave. Visit Yeshe Tsogyal spring. etc. Overnight at the guest house on Everest. (B/L/D)

Day 14 July 07 FRI:
Drive to Shegar, and overnight at the Chomulangma Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 15 July 08 SAT:
Drive to Shigatse, stopping at Nartang on the way. Overnight at Shigatse's Manasarovar Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 16 July 09 SUN:
Drive to Lhasa. Overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel. (B/L)

Day 17 July 10 MON:
Free day in Lhasa to do individual activities. Overnight at the Dhood Gu Hotel. (B)

Day 18 July 11 TUES:
Transfer to airport and fly by CA 408 at 2.45 pm to Beijing arriving at 9 pm. Connect your onward flight to USA or extend your stay in Beijing. (B)

PLEASE NOTE: For those with the time and inclination, we are offering a three day stopover at the end of the trip in Bejing, for a visit to the temples and other sites there.
