Maitreya Sangha Brasil is delighted to invite all practitioners to the Green Tara Empowerment, which will be bestowed on Monday, June 22, at 8h p.m. (EST).

Following the empowerment, Lama Glenn Mullin will offer a series of instructions on the practice of Green Tara, held on Mondays at the same time over the following weeks. This will be a precious opportunity to deepen one’s understanding and experience of the practice under the direct guidance of a qualified master.

Green Tara is the embodiment of the enlightened activity of all Buddhas, renowned for her swift compassion and immediate response to the prayers of sentient beings. Her practice is traditionally associated with the removal of obstacles, protection from fears and dangers, the strengthening of favorable conditions for Dharma practice, and the cultivation of wisdom and compassion.

Receiving this empowerment establishes a special connection with Tara’s lineage and opens the door to engaging in her meditative practice according to the Vajrayana tradition.

May all beings gather the causes and conditions to participate in this precious encounter with the Dharma.
