January 2026 – Mexico, Six Yogas
In January 2026, Glenn teaches in the two most important Dharma centers in Mexico, Casa Tibet Guadalajara and the Khamlungpa center of the FPMT.
The event will take place from Friday, January 9 to Sunday, January 11, 2026.
On Friday, January 9 from 7 to 10:00 pm, at Casa Tibet Guadalajara, we will begin with an introduction to the historical context of the Six Yogas of Naropa and the presentation of the first Spanish translation of Lama Tsongkhapa’s text on the Six Yogas, originally translated from Tibetan to English by Glenn Mullin, and translated from English to Spanish by Antonio Arias, along with an overview of these practices and the theoretical introduction and structural framework of the course. This first day will also include a presentation of the book and signing of copies.
On Saturday, January 10 at Casa Tibet Guadalajara, we will delve into the Six Yogas: the yoga of internal heat, the yoga of the illusory body (includes the yoga of sleep), the yoga of clear light, the yoga of the transference of consciousness, the yoga of forced projection and the yoga of the intermediate state or bardo. The purpose of these Six Yogas is to guide the practitioner through a path of profound transformation, allowing the control of inner energies, the recognition of the illusory nature of reality, and immersion in the clear light of the mind to attain ultimate enlightenment.
Finally, on Sunday the 11th, at the Khamlungpa Guadalajara Center, we will explore the culmination of these teachings with the practice of Mahamudra. Mahamudra is the pinnacle of the tantric teaching of Vajrayāna and consists of recognizing the ultimate nature of the mind, a direct experience of reality as it is, which leads to ultimate realization and spiritual freedom.
